From March 16 to 24, 2006, a group of 9 youth from 3 independent schools in Canada journeyed to Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to climb and to raise awareness of the issues surrounding HIV/AIDS in Africa. They also raised over $50,000 to help support local orphanages in the East African country of Tanzania.

The Team reached the summit of Kilimanjaro at 8:45 am on March 23rd. Brian Jones was honoured to be a part of this Team.
