Mountaineering Expeditions
The Mountain School offers a full range of exciting mountain adventures and climbing expeditions around the world! While all of the coveted "Seven Summits" are included, we specialize in adventures to more remote mountain regions with fewer visitors and more adventure, offering a distinctly different expedition experience!

All international climbing and trekking adventures are small group expeditions co-lead by certified IFMGA or ACMG Guides from Canada as well as highly experienced local Guides from the region we are visiting - we are committed to working closely with local support staff and guides in every country as we believe that the cultural and travel experience on these expeditions should be as memorable as the actual climbing!

International Trips for 2008

Mount Everest, Nepal
The highest of all peaks on our planet holds a special atrraction for mountaineerins from around the world. We will be leading an expedition to Everest from Nepal in May of 2008.

Mt. Logan, Canada
The highest mountain in Canada, and the 2nd highest in North America, many climbers say "...this is what I thought Denali would be like!"

Mt. Waddington, Canada
At over 4,000 meters, Mt. Waddington is the highest summit in British Columbia, and also one of the most remote.

Kilimanjaro, Tanzania
One of the 7 Summits, Kili is an amazing climb suitable for all levels of climbers and trekkers, a perfect introduction to high altitude climbing on a non-technical peak.

Mount Kenya, Kenya
Climbing Mount Kenya offers a completely different perspective of climbing in Africa, with both technical and non-technical route options on the 2nd highest peak in Africa.

Masai Mara Safari, Kenya
No trip to Africa is complete without a game safari!

Aconcagua, Argentina
The highest mountain in South America, Aconcagua is a classic high altitude climbing expedition without the hazards of many of the worlds other "big" mountains.

Mt. Elbrus, Russia
Climbing in Russia on Elbrus, the highest mountain in Europe, is as much a cultural expedition as it is a climbing expedition!

Vinson Massif, Antarctica
Climbing in Antarctica on Vinson Massif is an adventure that only comes once in a lifetime!
