BRIDGE Course2010 Students must have an unexpired 40hr Wilderness First Aid course to enroll in this program. This course is designed for students who may want to upgrade their AWFA training to a WFR certification. During this course we will review the basics and then cover topics in more detail to get you up to the 80 hour wilderness first aid standard. There will also be more time to practice scenarios. Only WMC graduates can take a Bridge course to upgrade to WFR.

Location This Wilderness First Aid BRIDGE Training Course is based in Squamish/Brackendale, BC. All days are held at our training room from 8 am to 4 pm. Practical outdoor training sessions will take place in a local parks and recreational areas near to our classroom. Instructors All of our Wilderness First Aid course are taught by Dr. John Peachell and Shelley Secord, who are the owners and lead instructors of Wilderness Medical Consultants. Both Instructors are not only excellent 1st Aid Instructors, they are also active climbers, skiers and outdoor enthusiasts who know what it is like to be in a remote wilderness environment on a regular basis!
