We are very excited to be partnered with Wilderness Medical Consultants in order to offer the highest standard of wilderness oriented First Aid training possible. The only Wilderness First Aid training team in Canada lead by a practicing medical doctor, WMC places an emphasis on training people for practical, real-life situations.

Taught by medical professionals who are also avid outdoor adventurers, the training offered in these 1st Aid courses is essential for everyone who ventures into the backcountry.

Courses are recognized by the Wilderness Medical Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Which 1st Aid Course is for you?

IWFA - Introductory Wilderness First Aid (20 hrs)
This is an intensive 2-day course in Wilderness 1st Aid techniques and principles. Great for all outdoor recreationalists - hikers, skiers, paddlers, bikers, hunters, fishers and everyone else!

AWFA - Advanced Wilderness First Aid (40 hrs)
This is a 40 hour, 5-day course suited for people working and recreating in backcountry and wilderness areas who want a more in depth skill set to deal with serious emergencies and long-term patient management.

WFR - Wilderness First Responder (80 hrs)
This is our 10-day comprehensive course for Outdoor leaders, Guides and medical professionals who require skills and training to handle 1st Aid situations in remote wilderness areas.

WFR - Re-certification (3 days)
This re-cert course is a dedicated course for those needing to re-certify their previous WFR course. We do not toss you in with another course - this course is designed to truly refresh you in the 1st Aid Skills that will make you a better 1st Aid'er!

CPR-C and AED course (4 hrs)
An intensive CPR course certified by the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, including training and certification in use of the Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)
