Location
This course typically takes place in the backcountry behind Mount Seymour. The late season snow pack and easy access of this area make this an ideal location for reviewing and practicing steep snow climbing, crevasse rescue, rock anchors and other mountaineering skills. Other options include accessing the alpine regions of Garibaldi Park via the Blackcomb Mountain ski lifts if the conditions on Seymour are not appropriate.
