Griswold Pass Trekking
The Griswold Pass region of the south coast mountains is a backpackers delight. Offering unrivalled alpine flowers, grand scenery, non-technical peaks and a remote setting, this hiking trip will surely become a classic! Your leader, Dave Sarkany, has been leading Canada West Mountain School wilderness trekking programs for many years and has over 10 years experience guiding hiking and backpacking trips in this sub-alpine area.

The trek will begin near the Southern Chilcotin town of Goldbridge, and will take you over a series of traditional trading routes and game trails in a circuit through the dry side of the Coast Mountain ranges. While there are historic trails in this region, much of the travel is off trail, with side trips hiking options (non-technical) up into the surrounding peaks and ridges.
