Situated near the highest peaks of BC's Coast Range, this region has rapidly gained recognition as one of the most striking wilderness parks in BC.
Our eight-day circuit journey penetrates the heart of the mountain wilderness between Chilko and Taseko Lakes, with Backcountry guide David Sarkany leading you through the mountain passes and valley floors. The proposed itinerary includes a spectacular boat trip down Chilko Lake to access the route leading to Spectrum Pass and on into the Tchaikazan Valley. Home to a variety of wildlife, this new Park has a full range of experiences waiting for you.
Prerequisites:
Backpacking experience; good fitness level.
